Trump Indicted...nope, not an April Fools joke.

It's been an interesting week...it started with me taking a sick day on Tuesday. I was tired for various reasons and I decided I wasn't going to push through the day only to be on call and deal with whatever came of the night. Turns out it would have been fine but oh well, I'm trying not to feel guilty about it but it's hard. The end of the week, however, brought some great news...the Manhattan DA indicted Trump for campaign finance fraud in the form of a porn star hush money payment. It'll be a challenge to convict the piece of shit but this is only the start of all the illegal shit he's done. It'll be amazing if he goes to jail but I just don't see that happening because he's rich and powerful and they don't call him Teflon Don for nothing. I hope justice prevails and he's held accountable for all the damage he's done. Better yet, just pile him into a rocket and blast him off into the atmosphere to rot. Enough of that! It's a warm sunny Saturday afternoon and I'm trying to be productive today because I'm on call tomorrow. I'm a few days late with this entry; I should have done this Tuesday while I sat on my ass and I should be cleaning my bathroom right now but such is life. Again, trying not to feel guilty about being lazy although I did wash my sheets and got sucked down a rabbit hole prompted by an alumni newsletter. To follow this, I plan to take a Barre class and a bubble bath to finally shave my legs. Hopefully tomorrow isn't bad and I have enough energy to do whatever I need to do Monday.

My last entry was apparently on a Sunday so this starts on the last Monday of February. I ran errands, meal prepped, read, and did a living room workout. That work week was the final push before my March vacation, of which I really needed. As I've done in the past, I will list my vacation by day although there were a few days that I have a lot to say about:

Saturday: There was a snowstorm so I slept in, washed my sheets, finished reading my book on women's anger and did a living room workout.

Sunday: I dropped off my tax documents and headed to my mom's house to spend the afternoon talking. I hadn't seen her in a year and a half. We covered a lot of subjects from small talk to general catching up to family, politics and religion. It's been almost a month and I'm still processing everything. I feel like it's going to be a struggle for the rest of my life determining what I can and cannot ignore. She is misinformed, willfully ignorant, and downright delusional about some things. A few years ago, I couldn't fathom this being a possible reality. I just don't know what to do except be honest about I feel and interpret the world around me. Luckily, I scooted over to Ashley's after to talk a lot of things over before heading home to drown myself in ice cream and whipped cream.

Monday: Dentist appointment, errands, phone conversation with Denise, dishes, volcano cleaning and bubble bath.

Tues: Started the day with a physical and pap smear, made pancakes, cleaned the girls' potty room, and headed to Burlington for the evening to see Pepper at Higher Ground. It was hard to get my shit together and make the trip because I'm starting to grow out of mini adventures in favor of staying home with the girls but I'm obviously glad I did. I was going to visit my friend Matt but I ended up driving home after the show...which was AWESOME. I made a friend at the concert and he bought me a drink which was nice but by the end of the show, he had his hands on me like I was his girlfriend. Super annoying and no, I'm not interested in a night cap. Most men are gross.

Wednesday: LAZY

Thursday: I went grocery shopping, made nachos, and did a living room workout.

Friday: Went for a walk then hung out in Windsor for a bit after returning their small ladder.

Saturday: Spent the day in Portsmouth with Eric, Denise, and Faith at his new place for his birthday. We did some shopping, had a yummy lunch and just hung out.

Sunday: Vacuumed the house and spring cleaned my bedroom.

Monday: I had my annual financial fitness meeting, ran errands, did a pile of dishes and some laundry.

The following weekend, I went to Newbury for an appointment then headed to Ctown after making a few stops along the way. Ashley had a hysterectomy on the 15th at APD (went well) but that morning, Christina found out Eddie had been cheating on her for 7 years. We hung out in the basement and talked through some things before I went home. I feel so fucking terrible for Christina...I still need to reach out to her. Sunday, I did stuffies, took a laterplay Barre class and grocery shopped. Monday, I did some laundry, went for a walk and meal prepped.

Last weekend, I did stuffies and a living room workout on Saturday. Sunday, I renewed my driver's license and spring cleaned my kitchen. Monday, I ran errands, meal prepped and went for a walk.

I hear birds chirping outside.

I love the girls...especially when they clean each other.

I officially started planning for my 40th today.

Gorillaz radio is super fun.
