April Fools!!!

Tomorrow is April 1st and I will wake up to fresh snow on the ground. No, this is no April Fools joke. This is New Hampshire. And I electively live here. I am so ready for spring it's not even funny. We were teased with some spring weather but now mother nature is sneaking in a little last minute snow storm. Atleast I don't have to work tomorrow. My life has been pretty uneventful lately...just work (I am so sick of Epic I could puke), going to the gym, and I've recently started studying for the GRE. Tomorrow begins the 4 month countdown until I sit for the dreaded exam so days that I don't study (like today) will be unacceptable. I have never encountered so many unknown words before this little journey began. I feel like a feeble-minded idiot (more so than usual). So what's new. Not much. I still can't decide if I want to buy property or just move to a more ideal rental situation. Either way, I'm going to have to cough up more money to maintain a better living quarter. Moving blows goats. Tomorrow, I am planning on making a phone call that will hopefully result in me knowing what figure I have to work with if I decide to take the homeowner route. eDH go live is Saturday. I am so not looking forward to next week (on call Friday night) because I don't feel adequately prepared for this transition. There will be a lot of kinks to work out and I feel my department did a shitty job giving us opportunities to play around and learn. I am also beginning to feel that support during this period will be minimal and the amount of cases will not temporarily wan like we were told. I can't imagine how frustrating this is going to be...and how it will exacerbate my desire to sucker-punch certain people. An amazing thing happened on March 13th and I will refer to the email I sent to a few of my friends about it shortly thereafter. In short, Sherry located my Dad's biological mother via her son Peter (my Dad's half-brother) and made a connection with them. As a result of Sherry's time and effort, we have 2 new family members. Words can't describe how remarkable this is and what it means to uncover my Dad's past. Such a blessing. Brandi and Mike just booked a cruise to Bermuda from Boston in June 2012 and they want me to come with. I say, what a fantastic way to spend my 29th birthday!!! My bed with clean sheets is calling my name!
