I'm impatiently waiting for all the pictures on my phone to back up in the google photo app so I'm making a game out of it to see how much of this entry I can finish before it completes. It's also a good reminder of how addicted to and dependent I am on my phone...it's hard to set it down and leave it alone to do its thing. Anyways, it's been a relatively quiet month and I hope to get through this quickly; especially since I need to at least get my grocery shopping done today. Yesterday, I decided to sleep in and not go to Barre class. I ended up doing my usual Saturday stuffies and going for a walk because it is the warmest day this weekend has to offer. This past week's weather has been wonky...it snowed mid week. I also put the new canopy on my patio umbrella (took hours to find online last Sunday), breaking an "arm" in the process. I now have to go to the Home Deport to find new hardware. Would have been a lot easier to just buy a friggin new one entirely. I've done some stuffies today including shopping for a little gift for Laura. The first anniversary of her mom's death is coming up. I also finally placed an Amazon order. Whatever won't be done today will be done tomorrow...that includes meal prep, exercise, a trip to Ctown to go to Leo's and Love's Bedding (I am starting to plan a new living room). Oh, and a tubby.
The last weekend in March was fairly uneventful. Saturday, I went to Barre then to Newbury for electrolysis (officially started a new area). I got lunch in New London after then headed home to do Saturday stuffies. Ended the day catching up with Suzy on the phone.Sunday, I drove down to Manchester to hang out with Denise, Eric and Faith for the day. We chatted, chilled and got Puritan take out for lunch. We also did a fun little errand. I headed home around dinner time and grocery shopped for the week before calling it a day. Monday, I had my water heater serviced, did some stuffies, disassembled and cleaned an appliance, went for a walk and took a tubby.
The following weekend was super exciting because I found out Baby Dickerson is in the oven (I also now just found out it's a girl!). Saturday was low key...stuffies, laundry, grocery shopping. I was on call for 24 starting Sunday morning and thankfully we only did one case so I was able to head to Windsor for Easter brunch after we finished. I piled up my plate and was promptly told I needed to open a present...it ended up being a mug that said I was being promoted to human aunt from cat aunt lol. Such a cute announcement and I'm so excited. I hung out for a few hours and got halfway through a walk at home when we got a STEMI. Once I got home, I just decided to stay up super late getting stuff done because either way, I wasn't going to be good for much come Monday. I meal prepped and cleaned up the kitchen and climbed into bed after a late shower. Thankfully, we didn't have to go in again. Monday, I cleaned my bathroom, made an HOA monthly deposit, and took a tubby.
The following weekend was pretty quiet as well. Saturday was beautiful so I went to Barre in the morning, did stuffies, finished my call walk and spent some time on the deck for the first time this year. I also grabbed groceries for the week. Sunday, I brought Xander to Windsor for a few hours to meet/have a play date with Jace. He kind of ignored the dog to go straight to the food sources. Turd. I meal prepped and ran some errands. Monday, I had my annual financial fitness meeting with an advisor and as a result, I'm tasked with creating legal documents directing what is to be done with my accounts and assets in the unlikely event of my death. Luckily, after reaching out to the Facebook world, I'm getting less expensive ideas on how to accomplish this without hiring a local lawyer. I also did computer stuffies, caught up with my Granny on the phone, cleaned up the kitchen and took a walk. During our conversation, it was distressing to hear her tumors are growing and turns out, after a messenger update from Pete today, she now has a growth on her neck and is switching to injections from daily pills. I'm not sure if she'll see her next birthday :(
Last weekend was also pretty uneventful. I went to Barre Saturday morning, did my stuffies and went grocery shopping. Sunday, I had an impromptu "brunch" date at Jesse's with my peeps. I decided to drive to First Branch in SoRo after to grab a maple latte. I meal prepped and as mentioned above, spent entirely too much time online looking for a replacement canopy. I didn't clean up the kitchen and I didn't even shower. I did, however, feel the effects of something not agreeing with my belly. Turns out, after that, I didn't poop until after work Thursday lol. Monday, I cleaned up the kitchen, did computer stuffies, cleaned Xander's potty room then ended the day with a walk and tubby.
Iration concert from last May was finally canceled and I hope to get a refund soon. If not, I may be shit out of luck because there's no way to contact Ticketmaster without an active ticket in my account.
My Uncle David's bypass is scheduled for the 28th.
I spent a big chunk of time in my boss' office Friday morning because of an incident I felt was unfair Tuesday night. Sigh. I don't know what is going on with me but I'm not the same person anymore and other people are starting to notice. I'm hoping the new BC I started this month will help.
Our HOA president is stepping down in June to have a baby.
Last, but certainly not least, Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all 3 counts. Progress.
