Rainy Monday

Motivation has been an issue this weekend and the weather isn't helping. I've been tired this whole weekend and I'm growing tired of being on the HOA board. Things are about to get shaken up (again) because, after meeting yesterday morning, we have decided it's appropriate to boot Kristen out of her role as she isn't paying her monthly dues and that'll leave us with no one really who is actually interested in assuming the role of President. We are in he midst of switching our insurance, shopping for new landscaping companies, and dealing with tree issues so it's a great time for all of this to be happening. Why can't she just pay her dues, for fuck's sake. I'm out if this starts taking up more and more of my free time...which is especially enraging during nice weather. Anyways, back to the rest of my disappointing weekend. Saturday morning, I met with a third (sans Kristen) and final potential landscaper to walk the property and discuss needs. So far, we've only gotten one quote back so we'll see where the others stand once we get them. I did my usual Saturday stuffies and nothing else...failed to work out. After our meeting Sunday morning, I did some laundry, meal prepped and cleaned my bathroom. Once again, I failed to work out. Today, I cleaned Xander's potty room, did dishes, ran a few errands and I MUST work out when this is done. Probably heading downstairs because, due to the rain and my time mismanagement, I probably won't run like I desperately needed to this weekend.

A lot happens in a month. I left off the last weekend in May. That Saturday, I headed down to Concord to drop off my bridesmaid dress at Martha's Sew It All. I grabbed breakfast at Tucker's across the street then headed to St. Paul's to walk around the campus. I wanted to go into Bed Bath and Beyond but they hadn't opened yet. I did, however, pop into the mall (what a sad, empty sight) and Target. I also wanted to drop off old sneakers by way of Tilton but the program is on hold due to COVID. I picked up my new to me lamp at the True Value in Hanover before going home. I spent the rest of the day doing Saturday stuffies (not working out of course). Sunday, I went for a run, went to Dayna's bridal shower, grocery shopped, meal-prepped, and cleaned up. Monday, I did some laundry, cleaned Xander's potty room, and had my first virtual therapy session.

The following weekend was my birthday weekend. Another busy Saturday as I scooted down to Concord to pick up my dress then hit up my electrolysis lady for the first time since COVID. I grabbed a Coronis grinder on my way home. I headed to Ctown to be treated to a yummy Common Man dinner by Ashley and Jen. Weather was lovely for outdoor seating although we almost had to pack up as a thunderstorm passed by us. We enjoyed some basement time and they gave me the bestest birthday present ever...a portrait of Xander's head on a distinguished looking body. It came out awesome. I put it up in my bedroom lol. Sunday (my actual bday), I worked on my wedding speech and had dinner at my mom's. She made me baked ziti. I stopped by Emilee's on my way home to drop off a book. When I got home, I Facetimed with Simone for a little bit then dug into some ice cream. Monday, I did HOA stuff, ran some errands, went for a run, had a therapy session and had a Board meeting with Susan Almy.

The following weekend was Dayna's wedding weekend. I took Friday off and we got Mani/Pedis in the morning with Casey. I ran a few errands and did an at home Barre class. Spent the rest of the afternoon at Dayna's for a rehearsal and BBQ. I did a quick elliptical work out and got to their house with all my shit by 1030ish to help set up. The day seemed like a blur as we were busy setting up and getting ready. We got a few quick pictures in before starting the ceremony a little after 330. It was short and sweet (I walked too fast) and we did formal pictures right after. Then it was party time...but not really until after the speeches were done (I got a lot of compliments but felt like I could have done better). It came out really beautiful and it was fun hanging out for the rest of the night...although it could have been a bit warmer. I finally left around midnight to go home to my fluff. Sunday I spent recovering and doing stuffies at home. Monday, I headed down to a place in southern NH that is going to press and frame the bridal bouquet as a wedding gift from me. I really hope it was worth it and comes out really nice and preserved. I ended up being 15 minutes from Denise so I headed to their house after and we went out to lunch. Once I got home, I went for a run and called it a day.

Last weekend was a nice stay at home weekend. On Saturday, Kristin and I did a walkthrough with our first potential landscaper. I did a virtual Barre class and got pizza for dinner. Sunday, we did another walkthrough with a second potential landscaper, I cleaned the VP, grabbed some groceries and went for a walk. Monday, I got my car inspected, ran some errands and had a therapy session.

And just like that, another day with no work out has passed. I suck.
