Hottt Monday

I'm a few days early with this (shocker, I know) but I figured today would be easier because next weekend is going to be a little busy. Quiet indoor activities are best today as there is a heat advisory in effect. I may venture out for a walk if I can stand it later but most likely will have to force myself down to the basement. I could also attempt a run but I may collapse from heat on the sidewalk and a bystander will call 911 then the Lebanon FD will show and we just can't have that today. This weekend's been relatively quiet and it's been nice. Mighty Yoga opened their studio for small classes so I did 9 am Barre on Saturday for the first time since early March. I was the only one in studio for the class and it was awesome. I spent the rest of Saturday doing regular stuffies and hanging out with X. Sunday, I had a breakfast date with Chris at Lou's after talking online for months. He was sweet and brought me fresh picked blueberries but there is no chance for a romantic relationship and, at this point in my life, I really don't need more friends. I followed that with grocery shopping, laundry and meal prep for the week. I was going to go for a walk but I got lazy. I started today with an oil change, a little bit of HOA work and now I'm working on this after doing a little bit of online shopping for Suzy...she has filed for divorce from James (another one bites the dust) and moved out into her own apartment. I have a few errands to run, dishes to do, and some form of exercise before I can call it a day.

My last entry was at the end of last month so I will pick up on July 4th weekend. It was a 4 day weekend because the hospital observed on Friday the 3rd. That day, I went for a walk, took a virtual Barre class and removed the end caps and front panel to the heater in my bathroom. I made measurements and ordered a new set instead of cleaning the old because once it came off, it just wasn't worth it. Saturday, I went for a run then went floating with Dayna, Cory, Kristy, Alex, and Sean. It's becoming my new favorite yearly tradition. Sunday, I grabbed groceries, my neighbor Steve came over to look at my grill (after I did a little cleaning) and I actually used it to cook hot dogs and chicken sausage...successfully. I haven't used it since but I have a full tank of propane sitting in my garage, ready to go. Monday, I did my monthly HOA stuff, took a long bike out to Canaan and back, and had a remote therapy session.

I'm going to put the last part of this in bullet form because my July vacation started on the 10th (530 PM sharp) and it's just easier this way:

Fri: I came home from work utterly exhausted as I had been up most of the night on call (nope, didn't get called in, just couldn't sleep) and in charge that day.
Sat: stuffies followed by a date in Ctown with Jen and Ashley. We did Tremont take out, had a few beverages and played board games.
Sun: I got my car detailed, did some stuffies and bought some groceries.
Mon: I had to get recertified for moderate sedation in the morning at the hospital. I messed up the time so I sat there for an hour waiting for the next class which was ok because it gave me time to do a few things. I ran a few errands after and had a long conversation with Suzy on the phone that evening.
Tues: I put the new baseboard cover on the heating element in my bathroom (easy). I deep cleaned my living room and did an elliptical work out.
Wed: Kitchen deep clean
Thurs: I dropped off my contribution to Serena's dinner at the hospital then went for a run on the rail trail. Cleaned up some dishes and spent a little time on the deck.
Fri: Dropped off (finally) 2 smoke detectors at the hazardous waste collection then headed to Maine for the weekend, arriving around 1ish. We chatted outside with snacks and drinks for a bit with the kids. It was unusually cold so Mike's parents started a fire in the pit when they came to pick up the kids. We got a little hot tub time in at Brandi's mom's house before dinner.
Sat: Boating day (I forgot to mention Laura was able to come this year). We made some stops to swim (we even got jet ski rides) and to eat lunch. We were lazy for the rest of the day watching movies and eating lots of delicious carbs.
Sun: Breakfast sandwiches, kids headed to Santa's Village, walking around Bath, lunch at the pier before the long trek home. Picked up my boy and had a quiet night at home...with whoopie pies.
Mon: Some laundry and groceries

Ok, that's pretty much it but there are things worth noting:
~Faith moved out yesterday into her first adult apartment with Ryan. I feel old.
~Reconnected with Mike via Suzy last week...is that a shit?!
~John Lewis died.
~I love Xander so much and I don't want to ever be without him.
