Vacation Eve

Today is the first day of one of many wonderful vacations and I spent it as a busy body doing various things to get ready for tomorrow. Brandi, Mike, and I set sail for Bermuda from Boston. I will be turning 29 (my last happy birthday) next Thursday on the Atlantic. One thing I did today was drop off Xander and I miss him already. It's so weird being home without him; I automatically sense his presence and then I remember he's not here with me. My only consolation is that he will be taken really good care of and Puffles loves him almost as much as I do. Alright, I am fading fast so I must punch this out or else.

I went to Orlando April 19th (Thurs.) until the following Tues. to visit Mr. Monroe lol. It was fun but I have to say it wasn't the same as when I went down to Ocala in 2006. Maybe we've changed a bit and maybe the timing was a little weird because he was dealing with finals and relationship issues with Courtney and getting ready to move. He had a lot going on but it was still fun. We went out the first night in City Walk and drank entirely too much booze...it's never a good idea to start with screwdrivers and loaded coronas. Did not get out of bed until 4 the next day. Throughout the course of the weekend, we went shopping, did Universal, go-carts, ate out, etc. I brought my camera and took very few photos...bust. Maybe next time will be different...if there is a next time. HUNGRY. lol

The following weekend was Marilyn Manson at the Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach. Good times. Concerts are awesome but I'm glad this one was a lot tamer than he's been in the past. Went with Jeff and Eli and others from their circle.

May's been a good month and I will summarize it because I really need to get some sleep. It started with a little bit of a family bombshell...which, oddly enough, Susan likes to deliver in restaurants. After almost 20 years, she has found someone to date and felt strongly enough about it to tell the children. It was a little shocking and overwhelming and I couldn't help but shed a few tears. The times they are a changin'. If merm can do it, maybe I can *ahem* I have yet to meet this fellow. Ria's birthday party, Betsy left, a couple hours at the UVHS here and there, Mother's Day, a couple days in Beverly with Amy and Colton, Unity BBQ, and now I must rest my eyes. I hope I come back tan.
