Let It Snow!

It is actually snowing outside at the moment...the real snow fall in about a month. I'm glad I have the day off and don't have to go out in it. I can hang out at home, do my stuffies, and watch it fall. I'm happy to say I got a run in on the track before it gets covered again and can actually ski the next time I decide to exercise.
So the past month of my life. On the 16th of last month, I met Brandi in Kittery for the day and we went shopping and had a couple of yummy meals. Laura was unable to come due to her recent LASIK eye surgery. Brandi found out she was pregnant New Year's Eve so it was nice to see her for the first time as an expectant mom! She called me while I was driving down to tell me a shit story that couldn't wait until we met because it was soooo hysterical. I almost drove off the road I was laughing so hard. I love her bodily function stories HAHA. I swung by Susan's on the way home to hang out for a little while.
I met Kelly for some yummy Mexican on the 19th and got to see her baby belly! She is doing much better considering everything she's been through. She has her own place and fixing things with Will has become pretty nonexistant. She has a new, very supportive man-friend, whom I met this past Friday at a Dartmouth hockey game that Chris and I went to with him and Kelly. Her baby shower is in a couple of weeks and Brandi is making the trip (Lui Lui's date)!
The following weekend was Emilee's birthday dinner at the afforementioned restaurant and Chris came with me (although he was a little tardy due to snowmobiling). He got to meet those who were there. He's slowly being introduced to the people in my life. Ainsley's first birthday was that day but I ended up not making the trip. Hopefully I'll make a trip to Rye soon to see those peeps. And speaking of first birthdays...little Miss Gracie-face had her party on the 30th. I can't believe she is a year old already and even more unbelievable is that Ashley is in her third trimester. Her shower is at the end of the month! Life just passes us by...I need to get my ass in gear *sigh*. Again, Chris came with me so he got to meet everybody who was there. Like I said, slowly being acclimated...
I had my one year post-op appointment for my eyes on the first of this month and was deemed a successful Laser Vision Center graduate! Very exciting. I'm glad I had the procedure done and I hope I am pleased with this decision for the remainder of my life. That weekend was the annual ortho bowling party in good ole WRJ. Chris and I went and bowled a few games but we had to leave a little early to be in C-town by 530 to celebrate Heather's bday...we lost track of time and got to her house closer to 6 and everyone was eating. Not the ideal way for him to meet the rest of my family but whatever. He did well! I have yet to meet Erin...a sore spot for me but that's just the way it's been. Looks like I'm going to have to take it upon myself and head to Woodstock one of these days.
This concludes another brief chapter in my life. Snow is still falling. I'm only working two days this week due to President's Day. I briefly looked at UNH graduate programs today online and now I'm going to see if I'm eligible for a conference scholarship...some blitzmail I received. I'm listening to Deftones on Pandora radio now and reading the Hobbit. My throat hurts and I may be getting sick. I'm going to start ending these entries with random thoughts. Until next time!
